To get rid of Posttraumatic stress disorder(PSTD), we applies Cognitive-behavioral therapy which is  helpful for trauma survivors. This type of therapy helps you to adopt new thoughts which is also called cognitions and behaviors in place of destructive or negative ones, while safely revisiting aspects of the trauma. A therapist or mental health professional also recommend medications to help alleviate serious symptoms of depression and anxiety, which can help you to cope up with social, professional and other daily activities while being treated for PTSD. Medication is often used as a temporary measure to help until you feel better on their own.
