   I am totally lost.
I am finishing up my BA in psychology this year and I would love to work with counseling veterans. I know I need to go to grad school but I'm not sure as to what area I need to go into to get that end result. Counseling psy, behavioral psy, clinical psy, those are my options from my school of choice.

I would suggest clinical. Counseling and behavioral are more limited.
I have done Abnormal and Behavioral psych.

That's kind of a funny way to look at career prospects since it's typically chosen on a symptom rather than population basis, but I suppose the way to go about it would be to find out what kind of mental illnesses veterans suffer from. However, I would instinctively say clinical as well.
