I have been studying avatars. How do I create my own avartar? The one I like is a stick person with a cloud above its head and in the cloud the word idea (in my case I would like the word thought instead of idea). pljames

there are a selection of avatars that you can choose from in your user profile.

if you want to make an avatar of your own you will need a graphics editing program, the best free one is GIMP available at http://gimp.org

there is an option in your user profile to hotlink to an image that you want for an avatar.
