Are There Principles of Human Behavior? (Like 'cause and effect')

If there are, then they operate whether we recognize them or not.
Principles are constant, not random or sporadic.
So, if we can recognize them, we can predict outcomes, etc.
"Psychology" supposed to be a 'science', so what are the principles? How many are there? Who here knows them?
