Body Wisdom?
« on: October 03, 2009, 03:59:49 PM »
Do you think we have our own body wisdom. Most of the acts performed by us are just mechanics. We are working just in accordance to our habits and behaving like a robot whether its our social, religious or family life. Do you think yourself as a social slave?

"I gave way to delight, as mystics have for centuries when they peeked through the curtains and discovered that this world- so manifestly real was actually a tiny stage set constructed by the mind. We discover abruptly that everything we accept as reality is just social fabrications." - Timothy Leary.

We're all slaves.

Of course the body has wisdom ...its own dynamic intelligence..doesn't a cut turn into a scab? We breath with out considering. the body flinches at shrp light . Eyes water in the wind. The body is always trying to deal with what the mind is creating ... social fabrications and what not. If society says wear a corset the internal organs get crushed and the body gets weak. It is up to the head to figure out what is perverted, distorted and dysfunctional (unhealthy) and head should work along side and with the bodies signals. The real issue I find is being able to pay atention to the body in the right way. To listen and know when it isn't feeling healthy.

I may not be answering your question but I figure the body and mind both have the answer and really it depends if one is listening.

About being a social slave... If I were feeling like a social slave I would be paying attention to it rather than assuming every one is having the same experience.
