Common sense logic and reason
« on: July 17, 2011, 06:35:39 PM »
??? Materially comon sense common logic and reason are mind things not materially. I just feel by my knowledge they exist. But we are all material beings with a mind which is not material and our senses are as well. I do not understand the invisible supposedly spiritual part of me. I understand outside stimuli triggers my inside emotions more than vice versa.

What is this invisible spirit (to use a word) thing inside me? I can hear my words in my head buit I cannot see then until I write them down. I daydream/fantisize and wish I was there and not here. Yet I understand the difference between fantasy and reality. I realize there's more to me than material, yet I am totally bewillered by the invisble me. Thoughts please. pljames  ???

this question is jumbled. can you clarify what you want to know.
The so-called miraculous powers of a great master are a natural accompaniment to his exact understanding of subtle laws that operate in the inner cosmos of consciousness.

I believe in common sense common logic and rationale reasoning as a truth. These things are in the mind. How can I use them with people who does not have these qualities. Closed mind and heart they have. I want to be friendly and share my thoughts. I was once totally ignorant. pljames

The question as to the spiritual aspects of our being has been asked by humans apparently from the begining of our creation. This lead to more questions. Where did we come from? Where do we go when we die? What causes weather? The belief that a God or Gods exists or doesn't exist. Can we travel outside our bodies? What are dreams?

Seeking our own spritual path is a journey that must be walked alone to an extent. Others can help you or give you advice, but they cannot take it for you. And to an extent they can't go with you. You must decide what you believe. The journey doesn't end even after death. That is just a new part of the same journey. There are a lot of differing views about spritualism here. It is a good place to decide what you believe. Good luck and be Blessed.
Time is all we really have.

We do not own the earth. We are borrowing it from our children.

Is that what you really think?

How many ignorant people does it take to destroy a planet?
