Diifficulty with living in the moment

I am 22 and It's hard for me to live in the moment even though i have read some books about living in the moment.Any suggestions?

As opposed to living in the past and/or future?  Also, what books have you read?  I only ask because the more you tell, the better chance that someone may be able to share some useful insight and information.

ramshah; You have difficulty living in the moment as opposed to past and future? What is your means of transportation to either the past or future? Has time-travel and teleportation been perfected?  How can you not 'live' in the present now? Imagine being on the effiel tower; that's the only way you can 'live' in the past or future. You imagine/think 'now'.

ramshah, your means of transportation is your imagination. being in the moment involves engaing your sense perceptions in the present time. what is happening around you now. notice it, observe it, feel it but don't tell yourself stories about it. stories about your experience will take your mind into the past or the future that is where your attachments and thus your suffering occurs.
