Frequent, fleeting, wincing memories
« on: October 06, 2010, 01:43:36 AM »
Throughout the day, I often have fleeting memories of awkward or embarrassing situations from my past, usually triggered by something I see, do or think of that's somehow related. They only bother me for a brief moment because I choose to ignore them, but they're annoying because they trigger a wincing feeling (though not an actual grimace), and I wish I could get rid of them entirely. Is there a term for this? Does anyone have any idea about why it's happening?

Take heart, means you are not a sociopath!

I think you might have some sort of anxiety and/or social anxiety.

You could try taking some tests or quizzes online on "social anxiety" and "general anxiety" good luck.

And yea, youre definitely not a sociopath!
