« on: August 04, 2011, 03:21:03 PM »
so much from your career, from someone close that you gave up and abandoned it? on a daily basis

and the one person who was supposed to help u, who u looked up to, only person in world you trusted and depended on the most, abandons you at the last minute? and you gave up completely then

WHAT are you doing with 'thoughts'?
Consider this; a person claims "job stress"; sues and WINS, even the judge or jury are "bamboozled". ( The same 'process' occurs when someone says;"H/she, it makes me mad.")
How about if even only one other person doing the same job is not only NOT stressed but actually 'likes' the job? Obviously it's NOT the job per se causing the emotions.
The job is the 'occassion/cue' to react to the BELIEF that the job is causing stress; (it's the belief, just like in placebo effect, it's NOT the fake/inert pill that causes relief).
People in your life "let you down?" apparently you expect your 'expectations' to be always fulfilled to your satisfaction.
You don't RECOGNIZE 'believed' thoughts as 'thoughts' because 'believing' SEEMS to "morph" them into 'facts of the environment'. Magical thinking?

Are you on magic mushrooms or something? cos this reads like a word salad... I don't mean this to be rude but you do seem a bit off

No offence taken. You "tell it like you see it."
Would it be more accurate to say you do not understand my reply?
To be 'discouraged' is a emotion.'Devalued' is a evaluation. As a direct result of your evaluation, you experienced discouragement.
It's common to say,"My buttons were pushed" and "You make me mad". Both statements imply the BELIEF that emotions are externally caused/aroused (like sun-burn).
Here I am telling you the totally opposite of what you know and almost everyone else believes too. If you still believed the earth was flat, and,I come along and say it's round, you might just say
I'm a' bit off' (my rocker). Fair enought; we are subservient to our beliefs; we have allegiances to our beliefs, (EVEN THE FALSE ONES).
