I dont feel for people. I have to fake emotions for them.

Ok, so this might be long but bear with me here

I feel the need to protect everyone i meet (unless for some reason i dislike them) and not just physically protect them but mentally. such as i want them to be like me. Straight edged (doesn't like drinking/drugs) im not sure why im so against it. but if someone i care about is drinking or doing drugs i will be really upset with them. upset like they betrayed me. I wont feel sympothetic towards them. its just, no im done.

It doesn't just stop there. if i hurt someone accidentally. i don't feel bad for them. i know i should so i fake it and ask are you ok and things of that sort
i don't feel happy for people. if they do something really great. woohoo yay for them /sarcasm i have to FORCE myself to smile
i don't feel love. in a sense. if someone says something really sweet. something that would make someone go awe and give a smile. it doesnt affect me i have to force that out. and i feel really bad about that and i don't understand why i don't feel those feelings. its not just with one person, its with anyone.

i like studying people. so thats why i know i should have certain reactions to things. but could it be that i dislike people in general? (i feel bad if a dog hurts itself and make sure its ok) or could it be that im emotionally shut down. (alot of things are going on that could cause that) and im also a really nice person. im not a jerk that goes around insulting people. i just have trouble "feeling"

Well, I would say that honestly a lot of people fake emotions. It isn't abnormal at all. I mean, I hav known plenty of people that would be really sweet and kind to person A, and then once person A walks away they are just making fun of them and saying how much they hate them.

I would say a lot of people feel pressured to act like they have certain feelings that they don't. I sometimes can notice when I am in social situations or watching people that some people are holding back, that they are denying that they are mad and pretending everything is ok.

It may be because you feel you should feel certain things towards people, it is bogging you down. Like you may not like the idea of Having to feel a certain way, Having to act a certain way, so that is occupying your mind so that you don't actually feel those things. You are perhaps in a sense rebelling against Having to feel that way.

I would just suggest you think about people in your life while you are alone, and just try to see how you "feel" about them. It may be that all these social situations make you feel pressured to feel a certain way, so you aren't actually asking yourself how you do feel in that moment. You may have feelings that are unexpressed under the surface as it were. So perhaps when you are alone reflecting you would have some feelings about people, good, bad, whatever happens.

Actually, you describe me very well. I have two diagnoses so I don't know which one it is. attachment disorder stemming from childhood abuse or personality disorder from being bullied at school. There may be other causes but those are mine.

On the other hand, because I have to watch people very carefully for social cues, I have noticed that body language does not always match people's words, leaving me the conclusion that most people fake feelings quite a bit of the time. What their real feelings are, I have no way to tell. Just saying I usually have none at all.

Methinks that this is a trite and superficial interconnection of the apathy the OP speaks of.  In regards to the OP, it is not merely a disguising of one's feelings, but a lack of any feelings soever.
