would the people involved be better placed to say whether it is right or wrong?

feeling guilty is an indication that you have broken one of your own rules. you have created that rule because you would not like this done to yourself.

these rules will be as follows:
it is ok for your lover to be interested in other people and it is ok for you to be interested in people who are loved by others.
or
if it is not ok for your lover to be with other people and it is not ok for you to be with the people who are loved by others.

i m not saying this is right or wrong just outlining the rules that will cause you to feel guilt about your actions or or anger with the actions of other people towards you.

Do unto to others as you would have them do unto you. If you were in her boyfriends place? How would that make you feel? Would you still feel the same way you do now. If you care about her? Would she be better off with you or are you just looking out for yourself? Will your actions make things better? These are questions you should answer for yourself. I am not really interested in the answers personally. This is a decision that you will have to make. Life is seldom fair. There is another saying. All is fair in love and war. So which philosphophy you chose is up to you. I have found in my life that the fruit many times looks better when you can't have it, but when you get it then you see things that you didn't see before.
Time is all we really have.

We do not own the earth. We are borrowing it from our children.

Is that what you really think?

How many ignorant people does it take to destroy a planet?
