make this girl do anything you want to

Make this girl do anything you want to.

How many of you blokes got excited by that title? that would be another thread altogether.

this is supposed to be a test of whether somebody is left or right or left brain dominant. the oriiginal thread is here http://psychology-forum.com/general-psychology-forum/are-you-right-brained-or-left-brain-dominant

I have previously experienced her moving in both directions spontaneously.  however i have just discovered that it is possible to make the girl rotate either way.

all you need to do is imagine that she is turning the way that you want her to turn. don't look directly at her but keep her in peripheral vision and keep imagining her turning the way you want her to. after a few seconds she you will notice she is turning the way you imagine her.

let me know your success and failures. I think this is a more  interesting exercise than the orignal test and it has to do with how we interpret information in our environment based on what we believe will happen and our imagination.

The so-called miraculous powers of a great master are a natural accompaniment to his exact understanding of subtle laws that operate in the inner cosmos of consciousness.

An optical illusion demonstrates how easily our brains are fooled.
You say she will turn the way we want her to turn. And you are right, thus we see what we want to see.
This is applied to information too. We believe what we want to believe.
I wish there was more information in the public domain on this.

I only watch comedy on TV so on Harry Hills TV burp they played a clip from HORIZON 'SEEING IS BELIEVING' which is about optical illusion so I'm just about to watch it here. Looks interesting.

It's actually an interactive illusion test, I recommend :-)

HMMM! Strange. She seems to move more clockwise for me if I am looking directly at her. Counter clockwise when I look at an angle. These things always mess with my head. LOL!
Time is all we really have.

We do not own the earth. We are borrowing it from our children.

Is that what you really think?

How many ignorant people does it take to destroy a planet?

The silhouette is a sophisticated version of Necker Cube. I've been trying to explain our perceptions are not mirror images of "what's out there".
We affect and shape, what we 'see', not what we 'look at'.  "What"we see is not what we look at." I've been going to great lengths to explain what is obvious in this silhouette & Necker Cube.
Your perceptions are just that, "yours" and not universal as most mistakenly believe. Two people looking at the dancer, one sees rotation one direction, the other sees rotation the other direction. Can you say they 'see; the 'same' thing? Some differences do  not make a difference but some do.
(Thanks for bringing this example to my attention.)
( Notice I wrote; "what is obvious in this silhouette & Necker cube." Incorrect wording, the changes/shifts are IN US.  Language'conspires' in 'tricking' us.)
