A) There is no debate. I made a general statement. You replied asking how I didn't understand something that I clearly stated to begin with. Of course I'll argue the point however I am void of "emotional attachment." There is no victory to be had as there is no argument over anything other than your inability to read and decipher plain text and your overwhelming ability to say things that make you look foolish. Your "argument" so far has said NOTHING relevant to what I have said, and half of the things that you are refuting about my post... ARE IN MY POST. You weren't... paying... attention. <That's the only thing that needs to be admitted here.
B)At no point did I state that I felt marijuana "improved" me. At no point did I state that I "overcame" marijuana. You made that up. I simply stated my smoking habits so that it was understood that the post was not from a biased point of view. Your interpretation is lacking.
The post was about people with ridiculous mindsets. Just a statement. To admit that you simply felt it necessary to make a hasty reply to a post saying something bad about a thing you like is the difficult task. To admit that you missed key information and were just talking to hear yourself talk.
whether my post was moot or not. your reply was erroneous and pointless.
A) When you make a point on an Internet forum, it will be debated. If you're not interested in debating your points, don't make them on a forum. Your point is that
marijuana does not improve you, my point is that
marijuana's effect cannot be measured in terms of "improving" or "degrading" you (and thus that
your point lacks relevance).
B) You did not state you had overcome the belief that "marijuana improves you," I guessed that based on your stated point and the tone of its delivery. It may or may not be correct, but it's not really important - what's important is your validation of the statement's relevance by dismissing its veracity.
C) Now you're getting at it: Your mindset is ridiculous.
Marijuana can not "improve" you because it's not a meaningful measurement of its effect without a stated frame of reference (marijuana
can make you better at sitting in a couch watching TV, if your goal is to do it for as long as possible, for instance). Much like "The sky is blue," it needs not be said.
S. Earl Martin's got the right idea - just the facts.
