Mental Breakdowns in dreams?
« on: December 05, 2010, 08:38:32 PM »
Hi guys,

I have a friends who's started to have like psychological nightmares lately, she doesn't know why really.
She says that in her dreams she gets like mental breakdowns and just starts screaming at people for really no reason. She also said that one night (in her dream) she'd been taken to like a mental hospital where she did heavy restistance to all the people trying to help, she said she was beating them, screaming and crying.
In the dreams she feels extreme frustrations and she wakes up multiple times at night all stressed up wondering where she is.

I don't know much about psychology but these dreams aren't just random right? There has got to be something that's bothering her in real life, some feelings she's carrying around that repeats themselves in her dreams? Something subconscious? What do you guys think? What could be the root of all this?

(Pardon me if some expressions are very wrong, but as I said, I don't know much about psychology and even less about it's terms for things)

Answers greatly appreciated, thanks,
Math

does she worry, consciously, about her mental and emotional state?
The so-called miraculous powers of a great master are a natural accompaniment to his exact understanding of subtle laws that operate in the inner cosmos of consciousness.

I don't know really, she says she's upset about the dreams, she thinks about them a lot when she's awake, which she says makes her, well, upset. I don't know quite how to explain it, my english vocabulary isn't that good.
But I don't think she's worried she might just loose it and start punching people in real life, and she's usually a happy person, at least what I've seen of her.
Though she mentioned that she was a little bit worried about a meeting that her ex boyfriend will be attending, since they broke up (I think it was pretty much a mutual decision)he has been contacting her and been sending her weird messages, I don't know about the details though. And apparently he's sometimes appearing in the dreams aswell.

I know, not a lot of information to work with, but do you have any idea what might be going on?
