Name this experiment! Help

I seem to remember learning about this experiment, but I don't remember who conducted it, what it was called, or even what the outright conclusion was.

The experiment was this:

Participants were brought into a psychology lab, and given a series of tests. After all the testing, experimenters randomly assigned a personality result to each participant - meaning that each participant was told that they were a certain personality type (that they may or may not have been, as it was randomly assigned and not based on their personality) - lets call it personality A. Participants heard they were personality A, were told about the traits of this personality type, and agreed with the experimenter that this was their personality type (convinced their result was based off their tests). Then, some time later, experimenters apologised to the participant, told them there'd been a mistake, and said they were actually personality B (also randomly assigned). They described this new personality type to the participants, and the participants wholeheartedly agreed - they were convinced even more so that this was their real personality type.

I'm not sure if this is a conformity or social psychology study, but I'm hoping that someone can lead me to find out who did it or what it's called.
