How do 'you' think of 'evolution'? I think of it as a "Global Principle" like the "Principle of Gravity".
Have you ever seen photos or video of evolving fetus? From zygote to embryo to fetus to baby? Eons of evolution is replicated in a few months.
Does the "Principle of Evolution" abandon us after birth and caregivers take over? Our body continues to grow (evolve) to maturity.
Consider this, suppose 'evolution' takes the 'form' of thinking and consciousness. That would make us the 'vangard' of evolution. (The environmentalists will like and understand this.)
We 'are' the 'instruments' of continuing evolution. We are 'hurting' the earth, and at times we 'hurt' ourselves via thought and consciousness.
Ouroborus, the snake swallowing it's tail. (How far?)
The placebo effect 'works' when we DON'T RECOGNIZE we BELIEVE a thought. ( In any other context also.) What 'happens' when we DO recognize believing a thought is thought?
I've been proposing that we do in fact 'have' a innate perspective from where we 'can' recognize thought BEFORE believing and reacting to them.
We have a brain that 'thinks', 'produces' or 'transduces' thoughts. When we don't recognize or realize that, higher "perspective", that's analogous to pre-menstrual young girls who don't know what's coming.
