poor sleeping habits
« on: March 15, 2011, 10:48:25 PM »
I was just wondering which two of the seven modern approaches would be asociated with poor sleeping habits ie... psychoanalytic, behaviourist, humanistic, cognitive, neuroscientific, evolutionary, socioculural, and what type of questions might they ask about a person that has poor sleeping habits, ie.. not getting enough sleep.

Thanks in advace, Tyler

Even though I have a sneaking suspicion this is a homework question I'll take a stab at it.

behaviorist -  what behaviors led to the formation of this habit blah blah blah

neuroscientific - neurological deficits affecting circadian rhythm etc
That which can be asserted without evidence can be dismissed without evidence.

Thanks so much for the information, and yes it is part of some homework. First year studying psychology and I'm really starting to get interested, just trying to wrap my mind around some of the concepts.

Thanks in advance, Tyler
