Recurring dream about ex wife
« on: November 14, 2011, 03:23:14 PM »
So me and my ex wife have been separated for a little over a year and divorced for 8 months. I won't go too much into why we divorced but it wasn't one main thing...we just argued alot and were both a little too stubborn I think. Imdont feel that either one of us really wanted the divorce (I know I didn't) but after we separated we both kind of waited for the other to make the big move to
Fix the marriage. Besides subtle phone calls telling eachother we missed one another and a few visits, neither one of us really took the initiative. Now it's too late and the divorce is final. Anyway I keep having dreams that seem to take place when we were in our final days as a couple. I'm always pleading with her telling her how I love her and how empty I feel without her. What really sucks about it is these feelings are how I always feel anyway, but when imwake up I truly feel like I was just talking to her like she was really there. I mean the dreams couldn't feel anymore real. If I was crying in my dream while talking to her there's tears on my cheeks when I wake up. I guess I'm just wondering why I always have these dreams? It's almost every night that it happens. Is it because I haven't truly let go of what we were? I don't dwell on it all day and I try not to think about her, but when I go to sleep that's all my mind thinks about.

Gtrply82:  I read your post a couple of hours ago. No one else has replied yet, so I will.  Whether your divorce was a mistake is debatable. The thing to do now is move on with your life, even if that involves your ex.  I suggest search the web for EFT and 'The Healing Code'. That is useful for everyone, even married 'folks.

dreams are often symbolic and metaphorical representations of our "unconscious mind" if you are remembering your dreams youa re the best person to interpret them. people can often feel like they dont understand what the dreams mean. but it doesn't really matter whether you consciously know what they mean because you unconsciously know what they mean.

how do they make you feel, what do you want to do when you think about the themes and images of your dream?

The so-called miraculous powers of a great master are a natural accompaniment to his exact understanding of subtle laws that operate in the inner cosmos of consciousness.
