Sensitivity to other peoples problems.
« on: February 21, 2012, 03:57:11 PM »
:) I love philosophy and psychology but I could not work in the field of psychology, because I am to sensitive to other peoples problem. When they hurt I feel their pain as well. I see this as a problem because the clinician cannot be emotionally invovled with the emotions of the client. Yet the clinician to a degree has to have a feeling and understanding to help that person without being emotionally involved. I love to anaylse my emotions and understand (why) they happened (thanks to this forum). Thoughts please. pljames
