some questions on gender identity and norms

So this is a bit of a repost, sort of...I'm trying to write an article and submit it to a news company or something, if nothing else it will go on my blog. I just am trying to raise awareness. I'm someone who identifies as genderfluid/genderqueer (I prefer the  newer term genderfluid, genderqueer seems derogatory) and am doing an article about the treatment we receive from society and why society is so blind to it. I would like to ask some questions and discuss questions to be used in this article, such as  why society as a group is blind to it (gender stereotypes and their negative connotations/effects), how normal alternate gender identities are and how normal it is for one to challenge gender stereotypes/norms, and of course the mental health of it all. I'm sure I'm missing a few questions so other discussion is welcomed, as long as you don't mind me citing your part of the discussion, in context of course. I may come up with some other questions but this is the base of what I want to talk about. No I can't pay you, and yes I know it's usually frowned upon in a forum to jump in asking for something without making friends...but i'd be wasting your time because I'm no psychologist and won't be here often. Anyhow, thanks for reading this and giving me your time. I am truly interested in making a difference, and promoting that world that has no stereotypes and is truly equal.
