We Have Two Eyes; Do We Also Have Two "I"s? (yes)

Our self-concept/ego/identity is a SUBSET of our thought-system. You notice how people will defend a 'belief"? If any thought is in jeopardy, then so is the self-concept because of the proximity.
Most people believe they are who they think they are. We're not born with self-concept/ego/identity, because we need to learn lanuage first before we can "fabricate" that artifact.
So we must be born with 'real' I intact. So  can i demonstrate two "I"s ? When we are asleep, our self-concept is out-of -service, not operational. While we dream, our dreams are witnessed by original/primary "I".  The question; when "we/I" wakes up, is 'real "I" in the background like stars during daylight time? Can we recognize both SIMULTANEOUSLY?  Would our daily life appear as a dream to witnessing "I"? Consider this.
