:'( Can anyone please help? For the last two weeks, I've been plagued by a dream that has me very upset. Several weeks ago, I met a friend of my brother's. I rarely get along with anyone and I'm always cranky but my family's been teasing me and saying that we'd make a cute couple because from the moment we met, we talk and joke around. The last two weeks, I've been dreaming that I'm laying in a hospital room, sleeping, and he's holding, soothing and kissing my hand as tears stain his face. I suddenly wake up and begin crying when I realize that he's there. That's when he softly shakes his head as more tears escape his eyes. He then gently wipes away my tears and then soothes and kisses my hand again. That's when I wake up. I don't what else to do and my family teases me so much that even though we get along, I'm thinking about not talking to him anymore and just staying in my room when he comes by. I've never even been in a relationship and I hate my family's teasing. It's not right. What's with this crazy dream? I can't take it anymore. If I don't get some sleep, I'm going to go crazy.   :'(

Just take some dramamine and let your instinct dictate whether or not you are interested in this guy.  Honestly, I don't think that the whole "Final Destination" shtick is very productive to the cultivation of your evolution as a person.

what you see, is what you see, no one can alter that. But, what you do about it is what is important.
Dreams are thought to be similar to predictions
Predictions are what the future would seem to be.
What you think the future would seem to be greatly impacts on the actual reality of the future.
Dreams are what you call self-fulfilling prophecies.
Don't think about it too much, it's simply your brain in REM sleep, trying to compress and delete your memories.
This is all I've got to say...

It's not a comfortable experience when people try to match-make you. Would rather one chooses one's own dates than have other people's opinions, about a potential relationship, crowd in.

About that dream, well, dreams are useful. They are like the subconscious mind unravelling in pictures, or a story inside the dream, trying to tell us something about ourselves -what's really going on. During our waking hours we reason and reason to ourselves, we have a series of behaviours that, to our own way (and socially) is acceptable, and how we need to behave for our own equilibrium's sake and to coinhabit with others. But dreams, your conscience - rational - mind is at rest. Dreams can funny appearing in symbolisms- which in itself has a strange kind of rationisation.

For what it might be worth to you, my interpretation of this dream is that being in a hospital represents that you are not ready for a relationship - particularly one that seems to be foisted on you; thus all the hand kissing (etc) by the man in the dream.  I am thinking that you are on your own journey and that you are seeing that there are things inside of you that you would like to either change or evolve about yourself in that journey. And it's possible that you have past issue(s) that you have not yet resolved to yourself. And you don't want to strive about that either (hense you are in a reclined position in bed). You want to go at your own pace. You like this man, therefore it is not him that is a threat to you, but more the influence of others on your own decision making. Their unwanted imput is making you uncomfortable.

It's your life, your choice. You might want to let them know that they can trust you to make your own way.
