Comparing commom sense logic and rationality

Explain to me what these three subjects have to do with a patients rationality. She is cold but does not want heat to warm up. Needs to go to the hospital for immediate physical and mental long term care. Knows the problems but will not accept the second and third sentences. Whats missing in this patients rational reasoning? Feedback please. pljames
