Dealing with Grief and Mourning
« on: June 01, 2008, 01:04:42 PM »
There is no right or wrong way to grieve. Each person will experience grief and respond to it in his or her own way. family members may express rage, anger and despair. many people will be rational and cooperative.

I don think so, its grieving to deal with patients and family members. Again, i have my own opinion in this regard. As everyone is ready to cooperate with you, if you are ready to be patient and listen to them. family members express their emotions, as they get similar or undesired response from your end. If you do whatever is the need of the hour, rather than doing the retaliating job, you are sure to remove the grief portion from your life. :)

The death of someone close to us is one of life's most stressful events. We fear loss of companionship and the changes it will bring to our lives. It takes time to heal and each of us responds differently. We may need help to cope with the changes in our lives. But in the end, coping effectively with bereavement is vital to our mental health.

If somebody in your family or a friend has been bereaved, the best thing you can do is spend time with them and listen to them work through their grief. Offer practical help, such as cooking dinner or shopping for food - when a person is grieving, it's usually hard to focus on everyday tasks.
