Mental health philosophy
« on: May 18, 2011, 12:34:51 AM »
I had emotional brakedown. Went to a facility to get help. My argument was desperate people do desperate things to be understood. The techs there only wanted me to "understand my problem" (which I already did) but they took my ravings the wrong way and I got into a lot of troubles. It is a shame a person tells the truth as they see and understand it and the techs want me to understand what I already understood. My behavior stated without a shadow of a doubt my behavior. Understanding  is a two way street not a one way alley. The eventually helped me but they caused me more stress by there professions rules than human compassion. pljames

I have been harsh on the facility that I went to for my problem. It was children and family services and not a  mental health facility. These people are not trained in treat the emergency (extreme emotions) first then get to the reason the patient thinks they have a stress. pl
