Quitting Marijuana Before Highschool...hopefully
« on: June 10, 2008, 10:54:52 AM »
I am in highschool and i have tried many times to quit weed but never did.

i posted an earlier thread...about bout me feelings and anxieties... and now ive made up my mind

Starting tomorrow i will stop, and keep a journal of my success. I made an agreement with a friend not to smoke this whole week, after the week i will continue. Although i know it wont be easy, i don't think it will be that hard either. I can do it and if i do i will be a stronger person.

and support from you guys will be appriciated

Well it seems that you are keen enough to quit your addiction, that in itself is a very good indication. Once you have decided to quit hold on to your decision. It may take time but you will gradually get used to leading a normal life without taking any kind of addictions. Try being in the company of those friends who are not addicted to marijuana. being in the company of such friends would help you a lot in getting over your addiction.

Every day is a new opportunity to meet your expectation. If you fall off the horse one day, never be afraid to climb back up. I wish you luck and hope you have great success :)

I'm addicted to it to. I smoke pot everyday out of necessity and habbit more so than enjoyment...so I know there's something wrong there. Anyone have any other words of wisdom on how to break a bad habbit?
