My human neuroscience teacher showed us this website.

It covers all aspects of neurons including anatomy, membrane/action potentials, transport, neurotransmitter release/removal and postsynaptic mechanisms.  Everything is explained in detail and accompanied by flash animations.  It's been pretty damn helpful. 
That which can be asserted without evidence can be dismissed without evidence.
