When there's too much of me
To see of that which I am

topic:  Air Conditioning

I got this dagger when I was like 12 years old.  It was called The Hornet and was made by a famous knife maker, I have no idea who.  I got it because I was a huge Lord of the Rings fan (the books, not the movies; the movies are excellent, but the books are better; I digress) and it fit the image I had in my head of the dagger called Sting that Bilbo gave to Frodo.  It's been through hell, literally.  The tip is bent, the handle is bent and has wrapped leather instead of it's original molded handle.  Check out the skullcrusher spike on the pommel, that is awesome.  ;)

Yeah I have a lot of swords. Guns are fun, but if you run out of bullets they are not very useful. With a sword you don't have to reload.

Makes me think of the Three Stooges short where they were in the army and had hid inside of these cloth targets.  The Sargent says to his troops, "so I took my trusty bayonet and lunged hard, right between the eyes."  And he stabs the target with Curly (I think) in it and it slides under his nose and he's terrified.  Funny stuff.

In this world there is more than a single person
And any other could kill or rob you
But you must let go of paranoia in this world

Rootbeer
I no longer drink carbonated beverages.
I will admit I miss them.
Rootbeer was one of my favorites.
With vanillia icecream. MMM!

Or Nutmeg
When fresh
intoxicating
MMDA
makes a relaxing trip.

Nutmeg is amazing.  I've never tried it fresh, but I did 25g of McCormicks and it was a good thing.  I mixed it with milk and chugged.  Yuck.  My friend parachuted it (wrapped it in a coffee filter and swallowed, the guy could swallow a golf ball I'm sure, he would make a mint in the gay porno industry; I digress).

Red makes me warm like the sound of orange
And green means to me many things
Purple and blue do what they do
To carry me away to the churches and parades

Earl, it's time for another history lesson.

Yes back in the day. When I lived in Houston. There was a store that sold fresh herbs. Of many kinds. Some friends of mine and I got fresh whole Nutmeg. We ground it and used a formula that I had from a book to make a drink. The drink was really good and it produced a strong feeling of uphoria. It was a long time ago so my memory about the experience is fuzzy.

@Earl
My friend is thinking about magnets for perpetual motion.  With their polarities arranged so that they will keep spinning in a circle which would produce enough force to move a columnesque generator.

( Look up Battery Hack The Planet. If you can find the video this is how I connect to the earth. This produces a few volts. If you reverse the polarity using a battery a whole different kind of energy is produced. It can be stored in a body of water and when a sufficient charge is built up can be released to do work. Be careful it can disitagrate things. Also the magnet thing has been done. It is shown on You Tube.)

Well, I'm off until tomorrow.  I'm going to my friend's house to get together all of his camping gear.  We're going to upstate New York next week to attend a Godsmack concert.  We'll be camping in bear country.  This is one instance where a sword would be mightier than the pen, and a gun mightier still.  We'll see.

Hopefully your trip is bearable. Actually at close range a broad sword is better than a gun for defending against a bear. If you know how to use one. An eight to ten pound sword can take out any animal even an elephant if it is wielded correctly. Although I would prefer to take out something at longer range with a rifle. Or to not have to kill it at all. I have interacted with bears before in Alaska, Arizona, New Mexico and East Texas. The ones in the states are black bears. Smaller, but they can still kill somone no problem. They actually are more agressive. In Alaska they are Black, Brown, Polar and Grizzle Bears. That was during the 60's. Most of the biggest ones were killed now. In those days we had Bears as big as a car no problem. Be careful and keep your gear up high.

Hee Hee! This is also FF3 on SNES. I just started a new game a few days ago. Using the original names. I am at the opera house with Celes. So how did you know? On what level did you sense I was hearing that music? Was it just coincidence? One of those syncronicity things that cannot be explained?

My mind is naught but one with God's mind.  :)  I think that creativity and inspiration both reflect a channeling into the super-conscious state.  Like samadhi or an LSD peak.  Anyways, so you just stormed Zozo and found Terra and are now trying to steal Setzer's airship.  How quaint.  Composer Nobuo Uematsu, the genius himself, said that the opera music is magnum opus.  It is, and I state this with all altruistic intent, 16-bit aural glory.

The Facility's music is awesome.  Oh, and graphics do NOT make a game.  All these young kids are bitching about how Halo and Morrowind's graphics are outdated (I've never played Halo, Morrowind though, that is the spiritual successor to Richard Garriott's Ultima Underworld series.  Google these terms man, interesting stuff).  Music and storytelling make a good game.  And FFVI has those in abundance.  My favorite part of the game you are coming up on, the Cave to the Sealed Gate.  Awesome music in there.  Take Sabin equipped with two Earring relics to make his Aura Bolt devistating to the undead creatures in that cave.

What's that name at the end of the game

And I just want more
