child counseling
« on: February 02, 2011, 02:11:47 AM »
Hi, I have a question concerning my child who went to counseling for the first time today. His mother and I separated and I think talking to someone would be beneficial to him, you know, to get anything out that possibly he wouldn't talk about otherwise . Today I took him to the doctor and, unbeknownst to me, his mother scheduled her first appointment for therapy right before my sons with the same doctor. Something doesn't sit right with me, is this something the doctor should do, would it be better that this is done with different doctors or at least at different times? Help would be appreciated....and thanks in advance.
