Death penalty or life sentence?

If you ever got arrested for something and the choice was either you spend you life locked up in prison or be executed, which would you rather choose and why?

I would ask for the death penalty (preferably by injection).

Because what is the point in living if I'm uselessly stuck in a cell, away from everyone I love for the rest of my life?

I'd rather die fast than slowly rot away in a cell.

When you say locked up, do you mean in solitary confinement or within the general pop.?

If I had to be in the general population for the rest of my life, then rip my guts out, call me a truck, and slap me till Wednesday. (i.e., death penalty)

In solitary confinement however, I could still practice Raja Yoga.  (i.e., life)

And yes, I'm being serious.
