John Lennon's Birthday

Today would have been John Lennon's 70th birthday.  www.Google.com has a short clip on their page, just click on the decorated Google logo.

Myself, I'm a huge fan.  Even though he was killed over 2 1/2 years before I was born, John still inspired me to pick up a guitar and get out of the mainstream.  Hell, I got my first serious information on pot and LSD in the Beatles Anthology book.

I've learned a lot from people who died even before my mother was born! Those seem to be the smartest and most inspiring ones.

I remembered it was John Lennon's birthday, I'm glad someone else also did!

I missed this thread in time for his birthday anniversary but lennon is an inspiration to me too. i went to the same school as lennon though not at the same time.
