I started to have small sores on my scalp, back and some other places about 10 years ago. I went to 3 different dermatologists who treated me with a multitude of medicines. One said I had trouble with my nerves and scratched to much, one said I had rosaesha, and one said she just wasn't sure what I had. But I went and went and nothing improved even though I sometimes took 3 meds a day and put on 2 or 3 differnt lotions.

When My then Doctor stopped taking my insurance I was forced to find a new dermatologist. This Doctor did a biopsy and said I was allergic to almost all the medicine I was taking for all my regular conditions. Since I tell all my doctors that I am allergic to sulfa drugs the minute I walk in the room I can't believe this went on for ten years.

Allergy to Sulfur is very common and unfortunately, it is often unnoticed by the most experienced physicians. Ideally, when you visit a doctor he should take a detailed 'history' of your records which also includes the 'Drug history'. You should have been asked whether you had any problem after taking any sort of medicine.
All these signs and symptoms can be a result of 'Sulfur' allergy. It is better to go for an 'Allergy test for medicines'.
If you are cleared, you can have a treatment for 'Acne rosacea'. Yes it is form of acne, but it generally affects the older fair people.
Still if you are not cured, you must repeat the biopsy to clear Psoriasis.

sulfa** drugs infofreek not "sulfur." Refering to sulfonamide drugs. They are anti-bacterial drugs used for treatment of acne, UTI etc.
