Just twenty-three,
Girl your life's now all but finished,
You could have went a little slower
But would that really much have helped?

Living over three times over
You'll always go the wrong way.
Girl, now you may have a lifetime
To sit and think that out.

Did the drink's taste make you better?
It brought you way above the limit
Where the sugar does no coating
And now daddy can not help.

Out past three by the Park,
Were you driving to the arms
Of another roadside lover
For who to leave you with a flat?

Drinks must be getting cheaper,
I could have sworn that was only Tuesday.
You really went the wrong way
Girl, what was on your mind?

I suppose you were not listening
To the writing on the label
Or the signs beside the highway.
Were you even searching for a clue?

I can see late and also early
But that really doesn't matter.
These guys were just getting started
When you came to them the wrong way...

Yes, your drinks will never hold you.
Girl I wish I could have told you.
Now your soul went out and sold you.
Didn't those drinks suck?
