Tahuti Baby
----------------
Tahuti baby is ready to go
Wouldn't you know she is the star of the show
Ginger eyes, she's only seventeen
The way she looks she'll be a beauty queen
Tahuti baby is ready to play
A million miles and she's a mile away

Where is my soul?
I left it somewhere long ago alone.

Tahuti baby takes the sun on the run
Though she'd cause less damage with a loaded gun
See-through boots and a see-through smile
She sees through you from the end of the aisle
Her see-through deadly, laconic smile
From the end of the aisle
From the end of the aisle

Where is my soul?
I left it somewhere long ago alone.
Where is my soul?
I tossed it out then far away at home.

City never tells you that it's hard to be.
You can't grow up by watching TV.
Some men can go and go and go and go,
Until you figure that out I guess you'll never know.
Stasis!

Tahuti baby will be the song of the dance
She don't need style, she just won't wear pants
She'll trade a night for a cigarette
At dawn she's gone without regret
Tahuti baby is a beauty queen
One year longer and she'll be eighteen

Where is my soul?
I need it now the water's growing cold.
Where is my soul?
It's in the hands of strangers that I know...

Where is my soul?
I left it somewhere long ago alone.
