The Bowl Scraping Blues In F#m

Sunny day was yesterday,
The grass was green
And my heart was on you.
These zero ounces are just not enough,
How little you know that one can do.
And the sidewalk seems so much shorter
When you are walking home to the bowl scraping blues.

Brother Leroy was a Christian man,
Walked his dog and loved his van.
He had everything he could ever need:
A pipe, a lighter and a bag of 'greed'.
Be thankful that you never had to feed him,
Leroy's passions was his eatin'.
One day Leroy walked to the worst possible spot
In his city where he heard the news
That the police had captured his 'greed'.
Now he's gonna find out about the bowl scraping blues.

Sweet Lynlilyetta, straightforward go getta,
Had no ring but felt her life was even better.
Tetrahydro green spot on her sweater
To show all the boys that she's game if they let her.
Lynlilyetta was a well-known dame;
Greedy too, her tricks were all a game.
But Lapis Larry, Lynlilyetta's man,
Was arrested for loitering and pandering his woos.
Now lynlilyetta was cut off from her 'greed'
And now she only sleeps with the bowl scraping blues.

Tiny Tim Trout liked the big city,
Said that when he's greedy the lights look really pretty.
He rolled around town on nineteen inch rims
And had a greedy habit of taking gravity 'swims'.
With all of these 'swims' that he was shootin'
He knew more about gravity than Sir Isaac Newton.
Poor Tim, his dealer's wife got hot.
He saw the news and now he has to choose
If Tiny Trout had better go a-lookin' for another,
Or if he's gonna chow down on the bowl scraping blues.
