The Past

What am I going to do?
The sky is feeling gloomy
And I don't feel for today
As if you ever knew
What I've got to hear
Its meaning oh so clear
I never knew today
I never really knew today

What can I say to you
To make the clouds less bitter
Lest compassion hides its ear
And I have no place to say
What I'm thinkin' of
The hearts that dwell above
Will never know today
Can never rue today

This is something that you have to feel
To know it's real
And I don't have any answers
Like I think I do
Now they all just fall on you

What should I do today?
The wind is softly weeping
In a mournful kind of song
That rarely disappears
I've never turned from these
So can you help me please
Find where I belong
Yes, find another song
