Stupid people pro-create more than intelligent people = evolution of stupidity

I've been thinking & being stupid does not impair reproduction, on the contrary it seems to accelorate it. Think how many children professors have to those less educated, perhaps in trailer parks, ghetos, social housing etc..

I'm the first to admit I was 'stupid' to have children with my x... what's it about?
Why does survival and evolution prefer stupid people.. this surely breeds more & more stupid people, I'd find it difficult to pro-create with someone stupid, which are the masses, which is why I'm single (possibly) and why I notice stupid people find many stupid people to date & pro-create with. Because attractive intelligent people like me are a minority (hehehe)... I joke of course but you get what I'm saying.
WHY IS EVOLUTION SUPPORTING BREADING OF THE STUPID AS OPPOSED TO BREADING OF THOSE 'BRAINY'

Some people don't think before they do something..... outcomes can be a disaster but they invented an escape clause.
"Shit happens." This is the common reply or attitude.

But then some are made to think,T-shirt appeared about 1993,
"Idiots make shit happen."
This forced a few to rethink, perhaps.

Very hard to reason why some do what they do,unquestioning and focused on food shows on TV and obesity as a life project.

Hmm yes but my point is Natural Selection is selecting those most stupid to populate the earth.
If we take it to extreme: imagine the world was mass populated with 'intelligent' beings and then imagine the world mass populated with stupid beings (as now).. natural selection is prefering the latter, but for what reason.. would mass population of 'intelligence' be detrimental to human survival?

If natural selection was based on 'intelligence' there would be an intelligent majoriy, but there isn't the majority is stupid and expanding. WHY?

Or maybe it is social engineering as oposed to natural evulutionary engineering?

because the stupid people are not thinking about the consequences of their behaviour so take more risk and get caught more.

It is most natural to breed, why would that be a 'consequence' of their action? hehe I get the idea though.
I'm thinking the earth is fed up of technology & having big holes drilled into it for oil, copper & mining & such & is sick of being blown up by B52's and land mines that 'intelligent' people design and create, so the earth is doing away with that, that is abusing it. Because stupid people don't know how to abuse it but instead live in harmony with it :-)

so that would be why rabiits and mice breed so much quicker. natural selection has endowed them with much shorter breeding cycles too. so not only do they get more rumpy pumpy but they have far more tiny feet pitter pattering


i like bolivia's approach to protecting the earth from stupid humans. in bolivia the earth now has rights. similar in purpose to the convention on human rights.

I once owned a rabit it wasn't just stupid it was mad, probably because it's only mating material was a broom (must have drove it mad) and mice eat cheese of (human intelligent) traps so they're pretty dumb, (re rabbits & mixamatosis - intelligent design by humans) yeah the earth like dumb creatures including dumb humans, it all makes sense now.

I like the info on Bolivia giving the earth a right, that's nice to end my night on :-)

i was deligted by the rights for nature when i heard it. bolivia a re taking it the UN and i hope more countries adopt it. maybe we should do something to promote this.

The article interesting, I would love to change attitudes towards appreciation of nature rather than valuing the material (which I'm working on in some respect - long story but it's the motivation factor driving much of the work that I do)..  But will contribute anything I can to causes I believe in organised by others. so let me know when the organisation is created & I'll do my bit.

It's almost like your standard of intelligence is wrong according to natural selection. The problem is that you define "intelligence" solely in terms of consciousness and disregard all other aspects of the organism as "unintelligent" only because it's not consciouss. This is further complicated by the fact that you seem to hold a theory of self that views people as entities, i.e. people probed at a given time fall in their entirety somewhere between "stupid" and "smart."

The error is in the presumed relationship between intelligence and consciousness. People who don't spend much time thinking about subjects like how materialist and stupid society is actually have many advantages over consciousness fundamentalists in terms of intelligence, if you define intelligence as the ability to compute information to solve problems. One thing people who don't define themselves solely in terms of their consciousness can do is work more on solving concrete problems, such as how to spread their genes further than you can spread yours by whatever means necessary.

Conscious processes are slow, high-level and information intensive (and at least in the visual cortex seem to "hog" the lower tiers to produce output) and simply get beaten to a pulp compared to more aptly suited processes. I submit that that's why people you define as stupid are more successful at reproduction than those who rely on consciousness for everything.
