The Nature Vs Nurture Issues
« on: June 16, 2011, 03:47:03 PM »
So related to this give your opinion to the following question:

1. Why do most little boys spend more time than little girls with toy guns and trucks     and less time with dolls?

2. Are such behavioral differences mostly the result of biological differences between boys and girls, or are they mainly the result of differences in how society treats boys and girls?

I am new learner in psychology , who can tell me how should i answer this question?thanks very much ???

It's just speculation (sure someone has done this test before) but I bet if you gave both boys and girls guns and trucks and kept them untainted from gender socialization then they would both play with all toys, but, the boys would spend more time playing with the guns and trucks than the girls.

What is action man except a doll in uniform?
