UK and US taxpayer screwed to bail out banks
« on: September 29, 2008, 09:29:53 AM »
on todays news i hear that both US and UK taxpayers are to bear the cost of the failing bank system!

what do you make of this?

i personally think let the banks collapse like any other failing business would be left to bankruptcy. these banks are repsonsible for debt and problems of many of the struggling taxpayers in our countries and this same struggling taxpayer is now burdend with cost of rescuing the banks that have screwed them.

why should we have to put up with this?

i dont understand the economy in great details, so if i am wrong please tell me.

the US are spending 700 billion and the UK 41 billion. that money could be pushed right into the economy at grass roots level to boost em,ployment and education. not to rescue failing businesses, let business look after itself and the taxpayer look after the taxpayer.
And the  LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as  one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:
