The pigeons that were at my kitchen's  window this morning ,waiting for me to put them some food and water .
I smiled because they are not afraid of me anymore . They used to fly away anytime I approached the window .I began to feed them about two months ago .

thats a nice thought.

i have had a similar expereience a few years back when i used to feed the birds in the garden of my old house. a ring neck dove started to come and sit on my bedroom window of a morning. not every morning but most mornings. that made me feel very special.

Today, I smiled because all ten seats of my leadership class are filled!!  I had ten people interested in a class I am starting this Friday.  I'm super excited and was so happy that all my seats filled up so quickly.

Also, I got a funding request approved for my classes - $1150 for material and food.  My books will arrive tomorrow and I've already gathered a bunch of great handouts to give my studens!  Yay!

how did your class go?

what made me smile.

at the weekend we took some of our old furniture to charity shop, while we were there we found a dining table that was old and well used but was very heavy solid wood, it had been neglected and a bit abused.

we bought it very cheap and took it home with four chairs to boot.

the next day i sanded stained it and polished it and it looks beautiful, i am happy to see it here looking loved in such condition with a just a little love and attention.

The class was awesome.  I think it will be a great 6 sessions!

Stan, isn't that such a great feeling when you can turn something beat-up into something beautiful?

What made me smile today - I saw around with a bunch of younger Airmen just socializing with them a bit.  We talked about nothing important, but had a good time.  I like spending time with my subordinates and being able to have fun with them.

I am very ticklish. So today two of my friends "tickle attacked" me. I could not stop laughing, so, of course, I was smiling.
