Hey everyone. One of persons I know, claims, that she senses death. She predicted death of like 5 persons, or maybe even more. What the heck? Well, she was clinically dead, when she was 18, she claims, that after then, she can feel death. How is that possible? Can this be somehow logically explained? I'm looking for a logical explanation for everything, I don't like much things, that are unexplained, especially, if they are scary.

Could anyone try to explain this logically to me?

P.S. I'm a science guy, I don't go into spirits and gods words much.

She's lying.

You claim you are a science guy, and yet you enter the caveat to your question regarding scariness...  How about it is all BS?  That would be my first response...

Yes, that's what I thought too, but when i thought about it, tried to remember things, investigated how it all went, asked around, etc.. It turns out, that she was telling from a few months, to a few days, that the person will die. And all those persons have died somehow. That's why I'm confused about it, and I do need some logical explanation for those things, how she could have known. She's telling some people about that she feels, when someone she knows will die. And it comes true after few months, or few days. Last time was our neighboar died yesterday, and she knew, that he will die a day before yesterday. She was going in the yard in the dark, she even looked with a flashlight to the side, where he was lying dead today. I saw that trough the window, and there wasn't anyone at the time. And this morning - there's a dead guy lying around. So seriously, i asked around today, I've been speaking with many people she knows and relatives of the dead too. Seems all is true, that's why I need a logical explanation for this. Seems too good for a lie or a coinsidence. If it was like 2, 3 people... Yea, sure. But many, many people... Well, that's just strange and unlogical.

She also claims, that she have seen herself from the corner of the room, during the clinical death.

There are a lot of things that seem insane that can be logically explainable if you don't believe the other options.

You said the woman has predicted people's deaths. And there have been several people. That's fact. All you need to do is analyze it.

It is known that people pick up signs non-verbal signs from people unconsciously. She may have picked up signs of someone's self-destructive behavior or unknown illness. And then put those together in her head or perhaps in her dreams.

Dreams tell a lot about what the person is going through and also sometimes about the things which are going to happen. I had a crazy dream once - ask me about it sometime- and i asked a friend who is a dream interpreter about it. He said it meant that someone close to me will die and a relative will need my support. 3 days later my uncle died of a ruptured aneurysm (which no-one knew he had) and my mother was in great shock and needed me to take care of her for a while. How did my friend know this?

Our minds are capable of doing a lot of unexplainable things. And we will all be living on mars before we know 1% of what the human mind can do. Believe me

Hm. Well, that's kinda unthinkable. I mean, putting everything, etc.. It's hard to put everything in places, when you think about it, to understand, that it can happen and how it can happen.

But how do you explain the looking to the place, where he will he lying dead? And she haven't seen him for... Maybe half a month, or more. That's a little bit strange. I mean, if you can somehow "see" into the person and know, that he has some illness... Well, that's okay, you can predict, that he dies soon, or something. For example, I can feel by looking to some persons, that they feel very badly, they might die soon. Yes. But I or some other person, definently not going to look at the place of death and think, that he will be lying down there tommorow. That's really strange.

You have to understand that people can rarely do those things consciously. It is her unconscious that sees similarities and signs. Her conscious at the time was probably thinking about groceries or whatnot.

People get a lot of dreams about the future, proving to me that there is energy in us that exists beyond time and space. I've had numerous dreams about the future, the latest just a month ago, when i dreamt of a conversation, which happened the very next day with the same person in the same place.

The girl you're talking about may have dreamt that he was lying there (knowingly or unknowingly) and either just knew or felt that it would come true.

Most do not remember those dreams and some recall them as some type of deja vu. Do not be surprised if you have dreamt ten years ago about things you have today. I don't claim to be able to explain this fully but since i have been focusing on my dreams more often and practicing remembering them, I know a lot more about the world, the people around me and what is going to happen.

Well, that is very strange. I mean, how can it be logically explained. I seek logical explanations to everything, and it seems, that this cannot be explained logically.

Well, at least I know the possible reason of it, and how it possibly could be happening.

Thanks for sharing. :)

Sure. I'm a very logic-seeking person myself and there is logic to this but by the time we can prove it, we would have to know a little more about the human mind.

That will take a while.....

Hmmm, some things are really scary and unlogical in the planet earth, but well, what can you do. Human mind is a complex thing. Relating to this - I wish, I was born in a rich family.

lol, being born in a rich, poor or middle family will not make your mind any more understandable. I was never from a rich family, infact there were times we had to share a house with another family.

Yet, comparing to people around me, I can understand and read signs of a lot of things consciously. Through years of practice and isolation. Because when you are alone and sitting at home most of the time, you stop focusing on worldly things and start looking into your own body and mind.

Well, I didn't meant that exactly. Of course it was not understandable from my sentence, I mean no one can read my mind, hopefully, hehe.

What I meant was - I would have more interest in such things. First thing I'd do - I'd pay some nice psychologist for visits, I mean talk about things about psychology, etc. Learning purposes, thinking purposes, not therapy. Another things I would do would be, that I'd be seeking more knowledge on such and many other things. I could hire teachers not only for school, but for such things too. And now - I can tell you, that I get 10-100$/year. This year particulary - it's been ~15-20$. I mean money, that I can spend for whatever I like, for my own things. The money, that someone hands to me in a money way. The paper. That I get only during my birthday. So I cannot really investigate anything further than many theories and the internet, which has a lot of good information, but double as much false information. It's hard to be smart and seek knowledge without money, you know.

Well, that was basically what I meant. Just opening up before going to bed, it's late here...

Well, I don't wanna be whining here or something, but my opinion is that I love science. Not all science, just science I'm interested in. And this is 80% of it.

Nah, you're not whining. Science, logic and reality are my favorite things in the world. Which is why I am always drawn to things which are unexplainable, debating them out and finding the logic in them is like a chocolate for me - so satisfying :)

Yea, I think, that I would actually enjoy being a detective, if it wouldn't be dangerous. But I'm good with my current profession. Although, I need to get that mind block off. I hate stress.

Why?  Declarative statements such as this oft belie common sense.
