Anti social Behaviour
« on: April 01, 2011, 12:31:48 PM »
I have been asked to complete a dissertation at College.  I have come up with my research question: Is bad parenting the route cause of anti social behaviour, however I am stuck on forming a questionnaire for this study.  Has anyone got any ideas of who I could target and what questions I could list?#

Also if you have any other ideas on sampling methods I can use in addition to my questionnaire that would be great.

Thanks o' wise ones!!  :)

Prince Harry was considered anti-social when he dressed as a Nazi for a fancy dress party. Better ask Prince Charles.
Sick to death of hearing bad parenting is responsible for everything. I had bad parenting but I'm not f*cking anti-social!!

lol @psychomother made me chuckle
The so-called miraculous powers of a great master are a natural accompaniment to his exact understanding of subtle laws that operate in the inner cosmos of consciousness.

Actually I think Prince Harry's actions were more considered deviant to some as the term deviant is something sociologists have offen discussed as an action that is not necessarily delinquent but which deviates from what is considered the norm by those within mainstream society.

I also belonged to a dysfunctional family where I witnessed domestic abuse amoungst other things and was moved around alot during my childhood and then was raised by my mother and I am far from anti social or delinquent. Many studies have already been done on this question which indicates that primary socialisation sets a positive foundation that reduces the risk of delinquency especially in male youths, however secondary socialisation and the environment also influence behaviour such as poverty, social exclusion, inequalities and much more.

I am interested in this topic because of the research that does already exist and the different ideologies of different disciplines, however we have been asked to conduct a questionnaire purely to develop our research skills.

If anyone has any helpful question ideas with a realistic target then I would appreciate the support. Thanks
