Future for working as psychologist - question from abroad
« on: November 02, 2010, 03:38:38 PM »
Hi Memeber,
I'm a young psychologist who lives in Poland. I'm in this moment of my work that I feel myself more strong as a psychologist and like to develop. I'm looking for the way to develop in wise way. What I mean? All of actual trends in the sciences come from West, especially from U.S. There are a lot of schools in my country. But the thing is thatI'm afraid when I invest in some school now in few years it's going to be not actual. So I'd like to choose some right direction.
1. What is now on top in U.S.?
2. What direction of psychoterapy? 3.D
3. Do you know the cognitive psychoterapy-what people think about it?
4. Do you know the Solution Brief Focus THerapy? What are the opinion?
5. Do you know Dance Movement Therapy? What are the opinion about possiblities to use?
6. Above-what I know and what I do-and now-what are the direction for psychologist in U.S.-what kind of job are the most useful?
7. Writing this topic I thought I could learn in U.S. some course (I work at University so maybe it could be easier?)-I can learn be the source, can't I ? ;)
I'd be very very thankful getting answers on my questions! At the moment it's for me a very important problem.
greeting from Poland
Kama
