Jealous man with insecure woman - what are odds for the outcome?

Hello forum.
Everyone is a unique individual but I am interested to know the most likely outcome of the the following scenario: In a romantic relationship of several months, if the man is jealous of another man’s attention toward her and the woman is slightly insecure, will his jealousy most likely doom the relationship or strengthen it and why? Would being jealous make him more likely to invest more into the relationship and in so doing strengthen it?

Jealousy is a curse for a number of reasons

Jealousy can be founded on what is very real, what we imagine and also paranoia.
we can create the very thing we wish to avoid by becoming jealous.
Conditioned responses of the worst kind.

Jealousy weakens a relationship,short answer.
