My sister is haughty sometimes

My sister is one year older than me and we were always close.  When we were teens, everyone noticed that she was the "prettier one" and most people, even in my family paid more attention to her and liked her more because she was pretty.  I'm cute too but people don't think i'm as pretty as her.  We are still friends and close but I notice sometimes that my sister is haughty towards me when we are around other people and kind of likes to shove it in my face a little that i'm not as pretty as her.  She is there for me when i need her and she is kind to me in other ways at other times.  I despise haughtiness in anyone but if i get mad, i think everyone thinks i'm jealous of her even though i'm not.  How do i deal with it? i cant stop it but how do i deal with it?  this is just the way of the world i realized.
