nanny needs help
« on: March 15, 2009, 05:11:16 PM »
I am an australia nanny working in Italy. I work with a 13y.o and a 9 y.o . What i personally find disturbing that I witness the 12yo kissing his young brother on the cheeks or rubbing his cheeks on his brothers cheeks. To add to all, the eldest tackles the youngest and kisses his bottom cheeks.
I can only tell the eldest that, he musnt do it,then i leave the room ... as it doesnt stop and I DO NOT want to view any further as mentally it not right!

* I know the youngest one gets upset and does not like what his older brother is doing
* The mother doesnt do anything at all.

This is very disturbing... Can anyone give me information as to what to do and why does the eldest brother do this.

perhaps the parents would be the best source of guidance here, there may be something cultural which they can help you understand.
And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:

You need to kick the kid's ass each time he does that behavior and eventually he'll stop. He'll associate the negative stimulus of you kicking ass and slapping him with the kissing behavior and he'll stop. You're welcome  :)
