poem i wish i could send to my ex but won't
« on: May 28, 2009, 02:44:03 AM »
lost for hours in the cold snow
made for such a pretty sight
toss and turn until you fold now
disappear with me tonight
i see you're ready but unable
forgive me dear i've been unkind
i lost myself along the way of
looking out for you to find
time is pulling down the hours
i've been saving in my mind
of our last time spent together
feigning deaf and seeing blind
what a sorry waste of pencil
for these lines you'll never find
no more a fan of second chances
still can't get you off my mind

i like it. you should send it.
And the  LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as  one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:

The art was inspired by the person. Thus, I agree, you should send it.

Which do you think you will regret more: Sending it or not sending it?

I had a friend who wrote this gushy letter to a potential partner. Everyone made fun of him. But I still think it was the right thing to send it.

What ever remains or has happened it is obvious your deep feelings.
It is a sign of your strength that you can put the these thoughts to paper.

People deny their inner deep feelings and there are consequences .
I always troubled over sending writings, but mostly did.
Not sure that it changed the outcomes , in fact it was often a waste, but for me it was a relief. And i suppose that matters?
in hindsight these deep thoughts are perhaps wasted on those who receive them but you can't know like me what the person who reads them will think?

People essential deny feelings and claim sentimentality to those deep thoughts, i suspect out of fear.
Despite this humans love to read the deeper thoughts of others . If it were not the case there would be only nonfiction?

But i suspect possibly in the quiet hours that person might read them with a wet eye.
As you were when you wrote .

Best to send ...............nonreply does not mean there were no feelings.

Horton.
