Potential Electra Complex

So I started chatting with one of old female friends of mine, after I moved out of the country. We got along way better the before. We chattedd mostly each for even several hours (it was vacation) and we just continued doing it. After few months, I jokingly asked her to marry me (long story, but she knew I was joking). And she anwsered "If you asking for real, I'd say yes". I kinda was was kinda freaked out, but I had some feeling for her, so I said we should meet sometime and start dating and we see how it goes.
Later I found out, that her parents we're pen pals, and her father asked her mother to marry her over a mail (kinda silly, but still). It looked kinda sweet from her to see that she wants to repeat family tradition or something.
That girl also talks with her father everyday (he works aboard mostly, just visits few times a month) and she even said, her father is most beautiful man and she would like to have a husband that would look like him.

I am not psychologist or anything, but it would look like a case of Electra Complex (Female version of Oedipus Complex), but she gets along with her mother very well.

So, what are your opinions?

I wouldn't go that far as to talk about Elektra with that girl. Depends on how old "Daddy's girl" is.

I myself am all in this Freudian phase with smoking and my old darling problem of professionally fighting against male white engineers as living incarnation of men. Nevertheless, I should also focus on my mum in this complex of Freud's Oral Phase, since she 's the family earner and mostly carries the role of a father regarding this.

My father on the contrary has been "finished up" in the anal phase already, with only few, but intense feelings of shame and lots of Angst of his "colt" remaining. Nevertheless, I became very able to stand and talk critisism without ending a relationship early as I used to do many, many times..
