Anytime we have a relationship with someone else? Weather it is personal or business. It effects our own life in many different ways. We share space and resources. Interaction effects us emotionally as well as it can effect us physically.

Now on the other hand. We have freedom of choice. We are the only one who makes us feel or react in any situation. No one can force us to react. With the exception of extreme physical duress. You have a choice as to what emotions you want to feel. Sometimes it is difficult not to let other people push your buttons so to speak. As with anything else forthought and experience makes the actons easier.

It comes down to:

Motivational factors, positive and negative reinforcement, goals and intent.

What motivates you to react? What emotions do you not want to feel. Sometimes other people can stimulate positive emotions in the relationship. So sharing emotions is not necessarily a bad thing. If you are refering to becomeing angry or sad. Pay attention as to how the other person achieves this in you. Most of the time they have a basic pattern of action to achieve the result. If you can define the pattern? You can develop a strategy to achieve your goals. If they do A B C D? Find a point to change the plan of action. Again you need a goal before you change the plan of action so you do not risk making the situation worse. If you want to get to a point? You must have a plan to get there. Not just do whatever and see what happens.
Time is all we really have.

We do not own the earth. We are borrowing it from our children.

Is that what you really think?

How many ignorant people does it take to destroy a planet?
