Hi all, i'm new here.

I'm currently working on a business management thesis,
and social commerce is the main topic.

The reason i ask in this forum is that,
Social commerce strategy is based on 6 social intelligences by Robert Cialdini, as described here :

hxxp://socialcommercetoday.com/how-social-commerce-works-the-social-psychology-of-social-shopping/

Basically there are 6 psychological ways to persuade online consumer in their decision making process.
popularity, affinity, authority, scarcity, consistency and reciprocity.

Popularity is implemented in social tools such as "ratings"
(basically if it's popular it will have high rate, thus it will sell well)
Authority is implemented in "testimonials / expert reviews"
etc.(You can read the rest on the link above because it's too long)

Now my question is, would it be correct to use Theory of Planned Behavior,
to analyze the impact of 6 social commerce strategy to consumer's purchase intention?

Can i, for example group popularity aspect into behavioral beliefs?
Because popular perception comes from ourselves?
But i begin to doubt this because my friend said that popularity should go to Normative beliefs because popularity effect comes from society.

Is this mindset correct?
If it is, does anyone know a journal that analyze those 6 aspects using TPB?
If not what analysis tool do you suggest me to use?

Thanks before :)

The so-called miraculous powers of a great master are a natural accompaniment to his exact understanding of subtle laws that operate in the inner cosmos of consciousness.
